Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) establishes the rules governing the use of the websites, software, platforms, APIs, artificial intelligence tools and professional services provided by Growth Market.

Its purpose is to protect our customers, employees, infrastructure, payment partners, suppliers and the integrity of our Services.

Any use of our Services constitutes acceptance of this Policy.

2. General principles

Customers shall use the Services:

  • lawfully;
  • honestly;
  • professionally;
  • in good faith;
  • in accordance with all Applicable Laws.

Customers remain solely responsible for all activities performed through their accounts. Growth Market may investigate any activity that reasonably appears to violate this Policy.

3. Prohibited activities

Customers shall not use the Services for any activity that is unlawful, fraudulent or likely to expose Growth Market or its partners to legal, financial or reputational risk. Without limitation, prohibited activities include:

Financial crime

  • money laundering;
  • terrorist financing;
  • sanctions evasion;
  • tax fraud;
  • identity theft;
  • financial fraud;
  • payment fraud.

Cybercrime

  • hacking;
  • malware;
  • ransomware;
  • spyware;
  • phishing;
  • credential theft;
  • denial of service attacks;
  • unauthorised access.

Illegal business activities — the Services may not be used in connection with:

  • counterfeit goods;
  • stolen property;
  • intellectual property infringement;
  • illegal gambling;
  • pyramid schemes;
  • Ponzi schemes;
  • deceptive commercial practices;
  • organised fraud.

Harmful content — customers shall not publish or distribute:

  • illegal content;
  • defamatory material;
  • terrorist content;
  • child exploitation material;
  • content inciting violence;
  • hate speech prohibited by law.

4. Reputation management services

Growth Market provides lawful reputation management services. Customers shall not request Growth Market to:

  • fabricate reviews;
  • publish fake testimonials;
  • impersonate consumers;
  • manipulate review platforms unlawfully;
  • create misleading online identities;
  • submit fraudulent complaints.

Growth Market reserves the right to refuse any project that could violate the policies of Google, Trustpilot or any other platform.

5. Artificial intelligence

Where Growth Market provides AI-powered services, customers acknowledge that AI-generated outputs are intended to assist decision-making and shall not replace professional legal, financial, tax or regulatory advice. Customers remain solely responsible for verifying all AI-generated content before publication or use.

AI services shall not be used to:

  • generate unlawful content;
  • facilitate fraud;
  • deceive consumers;
  • impersonate third parties;
  • infringe intellectual property rights;
  • bypass legal obligations.

6. Search engine optimisation

Customers shall not require Growth Market to perform activities that intentionally violate the published policies of major search engines. Growth Market may refuse requests involving:

  • malicious SEO;
  • search manipulation;
  • automated spam;
  • hidden content;
  • cloaking;
  • deceptive redirects;
  • illegal backlink schemes.

7. Payment services

Customers shall not use Growth Market's Services to facilitate or conceal:

  • payment fraud;
  • chargeback abuse;
  • card testing;
  • unauthorised payment processing;
  • circumvention of financial regulations.

Growth Market fully cooperates with authorised payment service providers in investigating fraudulent activity.

8. Sanctions compliance

Customers represent and warrant that neither they, nor any beneficial owner, director, officer or person acting on their behalf, is subject to economic or trade sanctions imposed by:

  • the United Kingdom;
  • the United Nations;
  • the European Union;
  • the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC); or
  • any other competent sanctions authority applicable to the Services.

Customers shall immediately notify Growth Market of any change affecting this representation.

9. Compliance requests

Growth Market may request information reasonably necessary to:

  • verify identity;
  • confirm beneficial ownership;
  • understand business activities;
  • assess fraud risks;
  • comply with legal or regulatory obligations.

Failure to cooperate may result in suspension or termination of the Services.

10. Monitoring

Growth Market may monitor the use of its Services where reasonably necessary to:

  • maintain security;
  • prevent fraud;
  • investigate breaches of this Policy;
  • comply with legal obligations.

Such monitoring shall always be carried out in accordance with Applicable Law and the Privacy Policy.

11. Enforcement

Where Growth Market reasonably believes that this Policy has been breached, it may, without prior notice where legally permitted:

  • suspend Services;
  • restrict access;
  • reject transactions;
  • terminate customer accounts;
  • report unlawful conduct to competent authorities;
  • cooperate with payment service providers, financial institutions and regulators.

12. Reporting

Suspected misuse of the Services may be reported using the contact details published on the Growth Market website. Growth Market treats all reports confidentially to the extent permitted by Applicable Law.

13. Changes to this Policy

Growth Market may amend this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. The revised version shall become effective upon publication unless otherwise stated. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

14. Governing law

This Policy shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or relating to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights provided by Applicable Law.
